Restricted entry and transit: Croatia does not recognise passports issued by Palestine, Taiwan and the Turkish Republic of Cyprus.
PASSPORTS: Valid passport required by all.
VISAS: Required by all except the following for stays of up to 90 days:
(a) nationals listed in the chart above;
(b) nationals of Andorra, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Brunei, Bulgaria, Chile, Costa Rica, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Estonia, Finland, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Guatemala, Honduras, Hungary, Israel, Jamaica, Japan, Korea (Rep. of), Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Poland, Romania, San Marino, Singapore, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Switzerland, Turkey, Uruguay, Vatican City and Venezuela;
(c) nationals of Bosnia-Herzegovina, (citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina who are not residents of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina do not require a visa if they have current permission to reside or work in a third country);
(d) transit passengers continuing their journey by the same or first connecting aircraft within 48 hours provided holding confirmed onward and return documentation and not leaving the airport.
Note: Citizens of the Russian Federation do not need a visa to enter the Republic of Croatia. However, they are required to have either a legalised business/private letter of invitation or proof that the holiday has been booked for them.
Types of visa and cost: Single-entry: £19. Double-entry: £24. Multiple-entry: £38. Transit (single-, double- or multiple-entry): £19-£38. Business: £48. Visa prices depend on nationality and are payable in cash or by postal order only (cheques and credit cards are not accepted).
Validity: Up to 3 months. Business visas valid for 1 year can be issued to members of a foreign company provided it is registered in Croatia. For further information on company registration, contact the Croatian Chamber of Economy (see Business Profile section).
Application to: Consulate (or Consular section at Embassy); see address section.
Application requirements: (a) Valid passport. (b) Completed application forms. (c) 2 passport-size photos. (d) Minimum of DM200 per day and sufficient funds to cover duration of stay. (e) Documentation relating to entry (such as business/invitation letter, return ticket, holiday arrangements).
Working days required: 24 hours or 4-6 weeks, depending on nationality and type of visa required. Multiple-entry visas: 4-6 weeks.
